How to Get Bad Smell out of a Car
Sometimes you just can't get the bad odor out of your car. You have to track down the source and then act accordingly.
- Clean your car as thoroughly as possible.
- Get out any trash and items inside your car. 3. Clear it completely out. (Check under the seats)Then wipe the car inside with cleaning product. 4. Vaccum the rug and upholstery inside the car. 5. Then Shampoo the inside of the car. 6. Open the windows to air out the vehicle. 7. Use pure patchouly oil and place the drops on the carpet and certain areas on the seats.
- Patchouly will cover up almost every kind of odor. It is used in aromatherapy to help relax the mind. It is also a known aphrodisiac.
- Note: Most car smells are a result of trash or rain water dripping inside. Figure out which one the cause is and then work accordingly.
- If it is due to mildewing water leaks then you may not be able to get out that funky smell until you can stop the rain water from coming in.
- Cover spill or leak areas with Baking Soda.
- Rub in as deep as possible, let sit for an hour.
- Vaccum well, the smell should be gone!
