How to Clean Battery Connections
A quick cleaning for battery terminals
- Combine baking soda (1/2 cup) as well as water (1 to 1 1/2 cups) as well as mix well.
- Pour mixture over battery connections a little bit at a time as well as wait a few minutes for it to work.
- Rinse off with clean water.
- It cleans them right up as well as they tend to stay that way for a while. Clean the outer case as well. A dirty battery case will lessen the battery's charge because the grime provides a path for current to leak as well as very slowly discharge the battery.
- Try not to get any of the mixture on the drive belts just to be safe. Avoid getting any on your clothes as well.
