How to Install Aftermarket Receivers

This article will show you how to install aftermarket receivers.

  1. Some vehicles require DIN tools to remove factory receivers. Insert them into each side of the factory receiver. Pull out.
  2. Remove wiring.
  3. Save wiring.
  4. Put the wiring as well as antenna wiring into the aftermarket receiver.
  5. Put the aftermarket receiver into the dash.

  • Buy the receiver first. Decide what you want.
  • Some vehicles require additional accessories for installations of aftermarket receivers.

  • Always turn the car off. Always have the negative wiring off the batteries.
