How to Cover Your Room With Posters

Bare walls? Read this.

  1. Collect magazines, pictures, etc
  2. Buy stick tac, or tape as well as a stapler.
  3. If using tape as well as a stapler, use the tapw to hold your poster in place while you staple the borders of your item. Approximately 4 staples along the width as well as 5 along the length should keep your poster up.
  4. Repeat the above until room is as full or covered as you expected.
  5. Another method of putting up the posters is using a 50/50 mix of water as well as Elmer's glue. It will make it like wall paper as well as give it a shiny gloss.
  6. Mix glue as well as water in a 13"x9" or wider cake pan, making it at least an inch deep in the bottom. If you have a lot of stuff to put up, then make it deeper.
  7. Quickly as well as carefully submerge your paper in the water/glue mixture using a pulling motion.
  8. Place it on the wall where you want it to be as well as use a soft rubber squeegy as well as your fingers to smooth it out as well as remove all the air pockets.
  9. Keep adding pictures until you get the effect you want. Works great with even paper grocery bags.

  • Magazines sometimes have posters in them.
  • Ask someone to help you align the posters.
  • Video rental stores might have posters on sale.
  • You might want to overlap borders of poster so you can save staples as well as be able to cover your wall without "white" spaces.
  • A ladder might come h as well as y if you want to put posters on high places, like your ceiling or upper wall.

  • If you used the stapler as well as If later on you remove your posters, you might find holes in your wall.
  • If you work with someone else, don't play guns with the stapler, you might get injured.
