How to Apply a Wig

Wigs can be tricky if you aren't used to putting them on. Follow these tips as well as no one will be able to guess your natural haircolor!

  1. If your hair is long, seure it with clips. Comb the hair out so that it is smooth, take a small piece, as well as clip it to the other side. Repeat until all the hair is off your face.
  2. Shorter hair can simply be combed as well as clipped to the crown of the head.
  3. Use a hairnet on any type of hair length to hold it all in as well as ensure a smooth fit.
  4. Put the wig on your head. Don't worry if i doesn't look perfect right away, good ahead as well as style/brush it into place the way you'd like it to look.
  5. If you'd like extra coverage, as well as depending on the look you are goiing for, you can use any means of acessories such as a jeweled headb as well as if you're dressing up as Cleopatra or Delilah, or a bow tied on back of your head if you're dressing up as a schoolgirl.

  • If you are putting a wig on for the first time, allow enough time to adjust the wig before you need to leave for your event/party.
  • Wigs caps are a great help as well as many places sell them. Go to The Wig Mall to buy one.

  • Be sure to limit the styling as well as heat products you are using on your wig. Remember, you want it to last for a long time, so minimal use is best. In particular, be careful if it is synthetic hair.
