| i bought a geforce 6600gt video card to put in my computer, it has it's got a fan with a built in power source. but in need to run a cable from the card directly to the power supply. I'm unsure of what i need to use or what port i have to plug the video card into. (my power supply has like 3 loose plugs) i dont know what they belong to. i ramdomly picked one, as well as the video card works fine, but after a while (usually while i'm in a video game like aoe3) my whichle computer freezes as well as i have to restart. I formatted my hard drive thinking it was a driver conflict but it still locks up. The only thing i can think of now is that it somehow i plugged it in wrong. thanks!! |
